Guestbook Coco's StoryWhen CoCo was a kitten she lived with my NaNa in Estacada. My NaNa gave her to me when I was little. We were around the same age and we played nice together. Now CoCo is about 12 year's old, just like me! CoCo is a very playful, loving kitty. She love's to sleep with me. When I'm sad CoCo is the first to notice and she comes and give's me kitty kisses. CoCo love's to play out side. One time she caught a mouse, we were in the house. We kept hearing her Meowing so we went outside to find her. She was laying on a little mouse. When she was sure we saw her little gift to us she let it go, with out a scratch. About 2 month's ago my sister noticed that CoCo's pupils were huge and she was acting weird. Kind of unsure of her surroundings, she kept moving her head back and fourth. She walked real slow and close to the ground. We took her to the vet and they said that her retina was almost completely detached from her blood vessels. They told us that the kitty eye doctor could operate but there was only a 5% chance that her eye sight would be improved. So we decided that CoCo was smart enough to adapt. So we didn't risk the operation. We were told to keep her in the house from now on, but her love for the outdoors was so strong that she got depressed having to stay in the house. We couldn't bare to see her so sad, so we let her out. Looking at CoCo you wouldn't believe that she is blind. We thank God that she is with us even if she is blind. Please remember that kitties with disabilities are just as special as those with out! Love a kitty today!! With love, Nicki, Amy, Brain Jr., Traci & Brian
