New Feature: Pictures
This site is for bringing people together who have pet/pets with cerebellar hypoplasia or other special needs. We find it hard to contain all the love that we have for these darling animals.
We're here to share advice, stories and information about living with these special kitties, and to raise everybody's awareness that they don't need to be put to sleep. They can live long and happy lives.
If you have questions about raising a CH kitty I would suggest first reading the stories in the members pages, there you'll find a wealth of information on what they did with their kitties. If you don't find the answers that your looking for please consider joining the club though yahoo groups, click on the register button on the left.
Most of us here have gotten our CH kitties as they were about to be euthanized. I believe that veterinarians are too quick about putting them to sleep, maybe they just don't know enough about Cerebellar Hypoplasia. These cats need to be given a chance for a full and happy life. With a little extra love and care these animals can have just that. This is what this site is all about, trying to raise everybody's awareness about cerebellar hypoplasia. If you have an opportunity to adopt a kitty with a problem like cerebellar hypoplasia or some other handicap, please consider it. These are very good kitties, and they deserve a nice home with kind people to live with, just like you.
We've expanded our site to include kitties with other handicaps. Such as blindness, diabetes, loss of limbs, deafness and many more. These kitties are located on the members2 page.
A Special Thank you to all the CH Kitty Club Members
